Model 500's make a statement. Prone to minor fading from
direct sunlight (as are some of the other colors)...
after decades in service it is hard to find a yellow
Model 500 that doesn't have some degree of fading. We
clean them and polish them but perfect color matching is
not our goal and we regard minor color variations as
"character" to be treasured if you buy a phone from
us.
Because shipping is not refundable,
please ask your telephone service provider if a
pulse-dial rotary telephone will work on their network
prior to buying. While there are devices
that you can buy that may solve the problem, you may
want to try one of our replica
phones which will work on all networks and give you
the look you are wanting without the actual mechanical
